The Boatel is based at Mannum and has been designed by local architects who specialise in high-quality hotel design. It has evolved from many years of holidaying on houseboats.
It is a total rethink of boat design, with a sleek, aerodynamic look, sweeping staircase, atrium and two-storey high glass windscreen.
Each bedroom is king-size with walk-in robes, ensuite and the entire boat is extremely spacious. Up to 85 on-board computers control everything from lighting to electronic blinds and windows, music and personal keypads are next to each bed.
The Boatel can accommodate 10 people and is self-drive. It also boasts a commercial-style kitchen, which is both trendy and functional and perfect for cooking up a storm for dinner parties.
